Nespresso is a brand made by the Nestlé group based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company sells its own system of coffee machines and capsules worldwide. 

The international marketing influence agency Ykone develops influence strategies for the social networks of large groups. 

Challenge

At the request of their client Nespresso, Ykone contacted us to produce video interviews with writer Joël Dicker for the release of his latest book "The Enigma of Room 622", as part of Nespresso’s project on Instagram, #NespressoEditions, which offers interviews of various personalities over a cup of coffee. 

For its client, Ykone approached us to produce audiovisual contents in order to promote Nespresso coffee. In addition to offering different video formats, we also had to produce photos adapted to the Instagram feed and images behind the scene for Joël Dicker’s and Nespresso’s accounts.

Solution

To meet our clients' needs, we selected a local photographer and videographer, based in Geneva. In order to propose different interview formats as well as a dynamic video rendering, two cameras were mobilized for the occasion.

We were also able to arrange and coordinate the filming and photo shoot in the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel as a nod to the plot of the novel, which takes place in a palace in Switzerland. 

Deliverables

We delivered photos and video interviews of writer Joël Dicker to the clients in different formats: 

  • a ten-second teaser
  • a short video of four minutes
  • a ten-minute video for IGTV
